Stabilizing facilities and teaching staff
At Bong Sen branch (Ninh Kieu Kindergarten), in the 2026 - 2027 school year, the unit plans to organize 11 groups and classes with about 300 children. The school arranges children according to their age, ensuring conditions for care, nurturing and education of children.
Ms. Ly Hong Tam - Vice Principal of Ninh Kieu Kindergarten, in charge of Bong Sen branch - said that the unit has reviewed and arranged classrooms, functional rooms, kitchen areas, playgrounds and equipment, and at the same time supplemented necessary supplies and equipment to serve children.
The unit has also reviewed the staff and assigned teachers suitable for each group, class, capacity and professional requirements, ensuring that the activities of caring for, nurturing, and educating children are maintained stably.
For English familiarization activities, the school implements them in accordance with regulations and coordinates with qualified units to organize for children when needed. If personnel difficulties arise, the school will proactively coordinate, coordinate and propose support so as not to affect children's education activities," Ms. Tam said.

Similarly, at Branch 2 of September (Ninh Kieu Kindergarten), preparation activities for the new school year have also been basically completed to be ready to welcome children according to the plan.
Ms. Duong Thi Mai Tram - Vice Principal in charge of Branch 2 September - said that this school year, the unit has 14 groups of classes (5 nursery groups and 9 kindergarten classes). After the merger, the branch still maintains the same number of classes and children, without causing fluctuations.
In order to best prepare for the new school year, we have proactively advised and coordinated with the Principal to arrange and arrange sufficient personnel, ensuring teacher staff for each group, class and staff in charge of tasks such as health, nursing, and care," Ms. Tram said.
In addition, facilities, classrooms, tables and chairs at the branch were also renovated and repaired and completed from June and July. In particular, the school has built regulations on close coordination between branches, doing a good job of ideological work for the staff and teachers and propaganda to reassure parents to send their children.
Switching from management to post-arrangement administration
Ms. Tran Thi Huyen - Director of the Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) of Can Tho City - informed that currently, schools are focusing on reviewing facilities, embellishing the landscape and environment, rearranging tables and chairs, and assigning teachers to receive classes. All preparations are ready to welcome students, especially first graders, into the new school year according to the program framework approved by the People's Committee of Can Tho City.
“According to the policy, all schools in the area will simultaneously organize the New School Year Opening Ceremony on September 5th. The Department has guided units to base on the actual situation, school characteristics and each student group to organize a truly meaningful ceremony, in the spirit of the People's Day for Children to School,” Ms. Huyen said.
For new educational institutions after the merger that are larger in scale, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training emphasized that schools must transform the method from management to administration; in which clearly and transparently assign tasks and promote delegation of power to school sites to prepare well for the opening of the new school year.
