From rural classrooms, female students achieved 29.5 points for C00
In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Trinh Thu Hien achieved almost absolute scores in three subjects: Literature 9.5; History 10; Geography 10 - thereby becoming the candidate with the highest C00 score in Thanh Hoa province and the second highest in the country.

It is known that Hien was born into a rural family, with a father working as a worker and a mother working in the fields. Hien and his brother are all students who strive to improve their lives. Hien's brother is currently studying at university in Hanoi, while Hien has just passed an important exam with his determination and desire to change his life from knowledge.
Sharing about herself, Hien said that she was not surprised by her scores but was quite surprised to know that she was a national runner-up. "I thought the test was close to the answer, but I didn't expect the score to be so high, especially in Literature," Hien said.
This year's Literature exam is issued in an open direction, requiring thinking and application skills. "When I read the exam, I found it quite strange, it took me about 10 minutes to figure out the direction to do the exam. I just thought I could get about 8 points, Hien expressed.
Although he believed in the test results, Hien still did not dare to check his scores but asked his brother to help check. "When I told you that I had 29.5 points, I immediately called your parents and teachers. I burst into happiness, Hien recalled.
Dream of becoming a teacher, supporting a family
During her learning process, Hien mainly self-study, relying on teachers' lectures to expand knowledge. "With open questions, the most important thing is to grasp basic knowledge, thereby linking the contents. Understanding the rules, any lesson can be done, the female student shared.

Hien won the third prize for the provincial-level excellent student in Geography in grade 12. According to homeroom teacher Le Van Dung, he is a good student, sociable, always helps friends and has a very clear will to overcome difficulties.
"With such results, the school is not surprised because my academic achievements are very outstanding. We hope that in the university environment, you will be able to promote even more, said Mr. Dung.
With an impressive score, Hien plans to be admitted to the Faculty of Literature Pedagogy, Hanoi National University of Education. I want to be a teacher to inspire learning for the next generation. Moreover, studying pedagogical subjects will be exempted from tuition fees, somewhat reducing the financial burden on parents" - the female student said emotionally.
