On April 12, Tam Binh Ward Police are still coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City Police Department to investigate the case of a group of female students who beat up another female student at Thai Van Lung Secondary School (Tam Phu Ward) causing a stir in public opinion.
Initially, the authorities identified and brought the group of students involved in the incident to the ward police headquarters for questioning.
The authorities have taken statements from these students, with representatives from their parents.
According to the group of students, the cause of the assault stemmed from a conflict over each other while playing with the group. On April 11, the students made an appointment with the female student to go to an empty lot and beat the victim up to show her face.
On the same day, April 12, speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh - Principal of Thai Van Lung Secondary School said that the school is currently coordinating with the police to clarify and handle the incident. "When there is specific information, it will be provided to reporters," Ms. Anh said.

The group of female students beat and cursed many times, and joked while beating. At this time, there were many other male and female students around, but no one stood up to stop them.
