Regarding the case of a female student being beaten by a group (in Thanh Hoa), schools have decided to send 6 students who participated in beating up their friends to school for 1 year.

On the morning of February 18, a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province said that Nong Cong 2 High School (in Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province) has just issued a decision to send 4 students away in connection with the case of beating up a female student of this school, causing serious injuries and a broken cervical vertebrae.

According to the decision, 4 female students of Nong Cong 2 High School were expelled from school for 1 year, including: Nguyen Thi Ngoc A (born in 2007, residing in Te Thang commune); Nguyen Thi G (born in 2007, residing in Tan Phuc commune); Hoang Thi Huyen T (born in 2007, residing in Tan Phuc commune); Vu Le Tr (born in 2007, residing in Te Thang commune), both in Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province.

According to the representative of Nong Cong High School, the school also decided to send two female students, Le Phuong D (born in 2008) and Nguyen Thi A (born in 2008), for 1 year of schooling also related to the above incident.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on October 4, 2024, a female student of class 10A6, while returning from school, saw a female student of class 10A5 walking behind her talking and joking with another friend. The female student of class 10A6 thought that you were defaming her, leading to an argument. On the afternoon of October 5, after school, the two female students continued to argue and disagree. After that, the school security dispersed and all the students left, but when they arrived at Tan Phuc commune, a fight broke out.

As a result, an 11th grade female student (when intervening to stop a group of friends from fighting) was beaten and seriously injured (neck vertebrae), and had to be transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for treatment. After a period of treatment, the female student was taken home by her family for further monitoring and physical therapy. The injury assessment result was 23%.

Regarding the above incident, on December 9, 2024, the Investigation Police Agency of Nong Cong District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 6 female students for the act of "intentionally causing injury".

The female students prosecuted include: Nguyen Thi Ngoc A (17 years old, residing in Gia Mai village, Te Thang commune); Nguyen Thi G (17 years old, residing in Thai Son village, Tan Phuc commune); Hoang Thi Huyen Tr (17 years old, residing in Dinh Kim village, Tan Phuc commune); Vu Le Tr (17 years old, residing in Tho Nam village, Te Thang commune, Nong Cong district); Nguyen Thi A (16 years old, residing in Hoi Cu village, Hoang Son commune); Le Phuong D (16 years old, residing in Phu Thanh village, Trung Chinh commune).
