The Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City said that this time the Department has received nearly 10,600 applications for teacher recruitment. Of which, more than 10,170 were eligible to take the exam.

Mr. Tran Quoc Hau - a candidate for the History - Geography teacher contest, graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in 2025 - currently a guest lecturer at a secondary school in District 7 before said that he had prepared quite carefully in terms of both professional knowledge and social knowledge for this exam.
"I am very happy and lucky because I have just graduated and have a large-scale teacher recruitment program in Ho Chi Minh City. I will try my best to complete my competition well," Mr. Hau shared.
Ms. Bui Thi Phuong (born in 2003 from Khanh Hoa) took the entrance exam to Nguyen Thi Huong Secondary School (formerly Nha Be District), teaching Literature.
Ms. Phuong said that after graduating from Thu Dau Mot University, she returned to her hometown to live, currently teaching a contract at a secondary school in her hometown. Knowing that Ho Chi Minh City is organizing an entrance exam, she was determined to take the exam to find a stable job.
"During the search process, I found that Nguyen Thi Huong Secondary School had a recruitment need, so I went to the school to find out in advance, and found it very suitable, so I registered for the exam," said Ms. Phuong.
During the competition, candidates will draw lots to choose practical questions; Prepare content to present on the Preparation Form within 15 minutes; Submit the Preparation Form to members of the Inspection and Testing Board.
Presenting knowledge and illustrating professional skills according to the preparation content and answering questions from members of the Inspection and Testing Board (if any) within 15 minutes.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training noted that when participating in the second round, candidates need to bring: Original citizen identification card or possibly other identification documents with images (in case of loss of ID card/CCCD); Original 2 Application Form (with photo and clearly marked name and address); Buts and items allowed to be brought into the exam room according to regulations.

Candidates are not allowed to bring into the exam room: mobile phones, recorders, cameras, computers, technical means of recording, broadcasting, data Backup means, devices for storing and transmitting other information and documents and papers not related to the exam content.
Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City announced that in the first phase of the 2025-2026 school year, the city needs to recruit 5,696 teachers.
In particular, for public service units under the Department, the recruitment demand is 674 teachers, including:
Area 1 (formerly Ho Chi Minh City) 466 civil servants; Area 2 (formerly Binh Duong province) 152 civil servants; Area 3 (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) 56 civil servants.
For public service units under the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones, the recruitment demand is 5,022 teacher positions, including:
Area 1 needs to recruit 2,721 civil servants; Area 2 needs to recruit 1,672 civil servants; Area 3 needs to recruit 629 civil servants.
