Basic and comprehensive education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration.
Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW clearly states the need to strongly innovate mechanisms and policies to discover, recruit, use, foster, remunerate and respect talented people working in the education sector; Implementing the policy that teachers' salaries are given highest priority in the administrative and career salary scale system and have additional allowances depending on the nature of the job and by region.
On August 27, talking to Lao Dong, Dr. Nguyen Tien Dinh - former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs - said that among public services, education is a very important public service that requires large investment from the state.
When discussing fundamental and comprehensive reform of education, it is mentioned that priority is given to teachers' salaries being ranked highest in the administrative and career salary scale system and having additional allowances depending on the nature of the job, according to region. This demonstrates the Party and State's concern and care for the Education sector - a very important sector for the country's development.
“The Education sector is the industry that “grows people”, training human resources for the country. Therefore, our Party and State are very interested and take care of the development of the Education sector" - Mr. Dinh said.
Dr. Nguyen Tien Dinh analyzed that there are many opinions that teachers are officials but must be considered special officials, teachers are workers but must be workers with special occupations.
To innovate education, we need to take care of the teaching staff. Only when teachers receive adequate policy care, good salaries and income can they devote themselves wholeheartedly to teaching and to the country's education cause.
"With good salaries and income, teachers can wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly teach in the school, without having to think about extra teaching, avoiding the situation of "outer legs being longer than the inner legs", avoiding the situation of disfiguring shapes. The collection method is not reasonable in the school..." - Dr. Nguyen Tien Dinh admitted.
