On the evening of March 25, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the People's Committee of Quan Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province, said that the unit had received information about parents reporting that the meals of students of Quan Hoa Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities had little food.

"On the afternoon of March 25, the school had a working session with the Parents' Representative Board to discuss improving the quality of meals for the students. Because currently each student only has 20,000 VND/meal, including gas and spices, it is really difficult" - the representative of the Quan Hoa district's leadership informed.
According to this person, according to a report by Quan Hoa Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, a meal per tray (6 students) is worth 120,000 VND. After meeting with the Parents' Representative Board, the school may soon implement the direction of dividing the portion for each student, instead of eating on the tray as at present.
In addition, the 120,000 VND includes gas and spices, which will be separated here, so the quality of the children's meals will be improved.

Also according to the representative of the People's Committee of Quan Hoa district, tomorrow, March 26, the district will direct the professional department to work with the school to propose a solution. Along with that, it will verify that if negative things are discovered in the incident, they will be strictly handled, in order to ensure the rights of students.
Previously, according to parents of students at Quan Hoa Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, the main meal of students at school had little food. Meanwhile, each student at the school is eating at a rate of 50,000 VND/day.
According to parents, with a meal worth 120,000 VND/meal for 6 students, many students in the large class (class 8 and 9) expressed that they could eat enough white rice, but the food on the tray was somewhat less than the needs of the students.
It is known that currently, Quan Hoa District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has 197 students studying and living in the boarding area.
