The current Sa Dec Bridge has been under construction for many years and is showing signs of deterioration. The new bridge was built to widen the bridge deck, increase air clearance and navigational capacity to make travel and traffic of water and land vehicles more convenient and safer. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
