At about 5:35 p.m. on October 21, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6, Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police, led by Senior Lieutenant Vu Duy Khanh, was on patrol and control duty on Pham Van Dong Street. When arriving at the Pham Van Dong - Hoang Quoc Viet intersection, the working group discovered a collision between a car and a motorbike, so they immediately approached the scene to handle it.
Through inspection, the driver of the car was Mr. N.V.H. (born in 1997, residing in Gia Sang ward, Thai Nguyen); the motorbike driver is Ms. P.T.H.V. (born in 2003, residing in Hung Dao village, Binh Dinh commune, Hung Yen province). At the time of the accident, Ms. V. had a leg injury and was suspected of having a broken bone.

The working group contacted an ambulance to support the victim. However, due to rush hour, waiting for a car is difficult. Realizing the victim's pain, the working group asked a private car of the people to take Ms. V. to the emergency room, and at the same time reported to the unit commander and used a specialized motorbike to clear the way for the victim's vehicle to go to E Hospital.
According to Mr. Quang Hung, who witnessed the incident and directly worked with the traffic police officers to get the victim onto the bus, the dedicated and responsible work of the traffic police officers made him very emotional, so he posted the incident on social media to express his gratitude and acknowledge the spirit of "serving the people" of the traffic police force.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Chien - Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 6 - said: After supporting the victim in taking him to the emergency room, the working group coordinated with the functional unit to conduct an investigation of the scene and handle the case according to regulations.
