At the National Highway 28 intersection, functional forces directly counted passengers on the car, identifying 37 people. While this vehicle is a 34-seater type. Thus, the car has carried more than 3 people compared to regulations.
The driver of the vehicle is L.P. T (born in 1985, residing in Da Nang city). The working group made a record of administrative violation against the driver for the act of "Steering a passenger car running a route with a distance of over 300km carrying more people than allowed" according to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP. The fine is 4.5 million VND.
The vehicle owner was also issued a record for the act of "Letting an employee control the vehicle to commit a violation" with a fine of 18 million VND. The total fine for the driver and vehicle owner is 22.5 million VND.
In recent days, Team 6 has continuously detected cases of passenger cars carrying more people than prescribed and resolutely handled them strictly to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles circulating on the expressway.
