On May 22, some drivers reported the situation of grazing buffaloes and cows inside the fence protecting the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, passing through Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. In locations without coronation guard along the road, just one jump, buffaloes and cows can get onto the highway.

Recently, a buffalo jumped onto the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway at km206 on the South - North section of the road and was hit by a tractor-trailer, lying motionless in the middle of the road.
Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Department 6, Traffic Police Department and patrol units were present at the scene to regulate traffic and place warning signs. Then urgently take the buffalo out of the scene to ensure traffic can return.

According to the reporter's records, in a section from km206 to km193 of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, near the temporary rest stop in Ham Thuan Bac district, there are many locations where grass cows are grazed near the expressway, no one is seen grazed. At these locations, highway protection fences are lifted, creating gaps.
Regarding the issue of buffalo and cow entering the safety corridor of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, the management and maintenance unit of this expressway section said that it has repeatedly detected and chased buffalo and cow out of the road safety corridor, but the above situation continues to affect traffic safety on the route and there is a very high risk of traffic accidents.

To ensure traffic safety on the expressway through Binh Thuan province, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai previously issued a document requesting districts to increase propaganda to people about the risks of causing traffic insecurity by arbitrarily cutting open the barrier of zinc thorn, grazing cattle and livestock within the road traffic safety corridor.
At the same time, localities have directed local police forces to increase patrols and controls to promptly detect and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
