Recently, many drivers traveling on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, passing through Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province, have reported the situation of free-range cows traveling, eating grass near the expressway. In locations without coronation guard along the road, just one jump, the cow will be able to get onto the highway.

Recorded on the afternoon of March 25, in just one section from km206 to km193 of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway in Ham Thuan Bac district, there are many locations of grassed cattle near the expressway. At these locations, highway protection fences are lifted, creating gaps. In particular, only the cows carelessly grazed and walked, without any one leading them.

Regarding the issue of buffaloes and cows entering the safety corridor of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, Saigon Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company, the unit managing and maintaining a section of this expressway, said that this situation affects traffic order and safety and has a very high risk of traffic accidents.

This unit has also repeatedly detected and chased livestock out of the road safety corridor, but the above situation continues to affect traffic safety on the route.

To ensure traffic safety on the expressway through Binh Thuan province, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai has issued a document requesting districts to increase propaganda to people about the risks of causing traffic insecurity with the act of arbitrarily cutting open the barrier of zinc thorn, grazing cattle and livestock within the road traffic safety corridor.
At the same time, localities have directed local police forces to increase patrols and controls to promptly detect and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
