On April 29, information from Da Nang City Police, in order to ensure security and order and traffic safety for a series of major events to be held, the unit has coordinated with the Department of Construction to agree on a plan to divert and reorganize traffic in many key areas.
According to this plan, throughout from April 27 to the end of May 2, vehicles will be completely prohibited from stopping and parking on Bach Dang street, the section extending from Dragon Bridge to Thai Phien street.
Specifically, during the hours from 4:00 PM to 12:00 PM on April 29th and the days of February 1st - 5th, stopping and parking are prohibited on the Ly Nam De route, the access road to the North of Dragon Bridge, Mai Hac De street (section from Trieu Viet Vuong to the access road to the North of Dragon Bridge) and Tran Hung Dao street (section from Trieu Viet Vuong to Ha Thi Than).
The Dragon Bridge area - the traffic junction connecting the two banks of the Han River will have remarkable traffic adjustments to directly serve the event. From 6 pm to 12 am on April 27 - 30, functional forces will ban all vehicles from moving across the Dragon Bridge in the direction from the East bank to the West bank (from An Hai ward to Hai Chau ward), while the opposite direction is still allowed to circulate normally. From 6 pm to 12 am on February 1 - 2, Dragon Bridge will ban vehicles from circulating in both directions. These route ban orders do not apply to vehicles with vehicle badges serving the program.

Functional forces will temporarily suspend ships and boats moving on the Han River within a radius of 200m from Dragon Bridge back upstream and downstream (calculated from the middle of the bridge to the edge of the East bank) from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on April 29, April 30 and May 2.
To facilitate people and tourists to participate in the event, the city has proactively arranged vacant land areas around Bach Dang, Binh Minh 7, Binh Minh 8, Binh Minh 9, Binh Minh 10 and Tran Van Tru streets as public parking lots. The front yard area of the Cham Sculpture Museum (Ancient Museum of Cham) will be used as a parking lot exclusively for delegates and VIP guests attending the parade.
According to Da Nang City Police, based on the actual traffic flow and vehicle density during the Gala days, the Traffic Police force will flexibly deploy additional measures to ban, cut roads, and regulate traffic accordingly. The police agency recommends that people and tourists proactively update information and adjust their travel routes to avoid entering restricted areas, contributing to helping the event take place successfully and safely.
