According to the Traffic Police Department (PC08) - Thai Binh Provincial Police, during the 3 days off the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday in 2025 (from April 5-7) through patrolling and controlling, the Traffic Police force in the whole province mobilized 58 patrol teams, 72 working shifts with 347 officers and soldiers participating.
As a result, 215 cases of violations of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety were recorded, with a fine of more than 1.17 billion VND, 8 driving licenses were revoked, 72 vehicles were temporarily detained and driving license points were deducted for 127 cases.
In particular, through the topic of alcohol concentration control, the authorities have handled 63 violations, fined nearly 360 million VND, temporarily detained 61 vehicles, revoked 7 driving licenses; the topic of speed handling 92 cases, fined over 370 million VND; the topic of expansion and overloading has issued 10 records, fined nearly 280 million VND.
In addition, Thai Binh Traffic Police also handled 12 cases of illegal parking stops, 25 cases of no driver's license, and 14 cases of not wearing helmets. The topic involved students handling 5 violations, fining 5.75 million VND, and temporarily detaining 3 vehicles.
According to the report of PC08 Department - Thai Binh Provincial Police, during the 3 days of the holiday, the whole province had a number of traffic accidents, resulting in 1 death and 1 injury.
