The project has a total investment of more than 225 billion VND, expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2028.
The project will build a approach road about 973m long, including a expressway overpass - crossing the expressway at Km54+842. At the same time, 4 branches of the route connecting to and from La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway will be built, with a total length of about 2,031m. DT.601 route will also be returned to the overlapped section, about 331m long.
The approach routes and connecting branches will be built according to the standards of a grade IV mountainous road and a branch road in other intersections at the intersection level, with a design speed of 35-40km/h. The route to return DT.601 according to the current status, speed of 30km/h.
The main goal of the project is to connect the local road system with the Ho Chi Minh road section La Son - Hoa Lien. In order to serve firefighting, rescue and relief work in emergency cases such as forest fires, floods, accidents, or when DT.601 is eroded. The project also contributes to synchronizing transport infrastructure, completing the regional transport network and promoting local socio-economic development.
