The coastal road project passing through Phu Thuy, Phan Thiet and Tien Thanh wards (Lam Dong province) is planned with a total length of about 14.6km.
The starting point connects to the roundabout of DT. 706B street in Phu Thuy ward, the ending point intersects with DT. 719 street in the Cambodian slope area, Tien Thanh ward.

According to the design plan, the road has a scale of 6 lanes for motorized vehicles, with synchronous sidewalks and medians. The project is expected to level a part of the sea surface area to build the road.
In addition, two overpasses across rivers are oriented to be built according to modern cable-stayed bridge architecture. The total investment of the entire project is estimated at nearly 9,500 billion VND.
On March 24, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Director of Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 of Lam Dong province said that so far many contents prepared for the project have been completed, creating a basis for early submission to competent authorities for consideration and decision on investment policies.
Pre-feasibility study report preparation achieved clear results. The unit has selected a survey consulting contractor, completed the survey volume and built a complete pre-feasibility study dossier.
Notably, through researching the exploitation plan of the land fund formed from the project, the revenue generated is assessed as positive. After deducting infrastructure investment costs, revenue from the land fund may reach more than 16,000 billion VND.
This not only contributes to financial balance but also promotes urban embellishment, synchronous development of housing and commercial services along the route.

Regarding the organization of implementation, the Project Management Board has proposed to divide the project into 2 construction packages to speed up the construction progress. The investment phasing plan is calculated appropriately, expected to shorten the implementation time and put the project into operation soon.
Along with that, the preparation of construction material sources is also specifically calculated. Functional agencies have preliminarily identified the number of affected households, and at the same time proposed suitable resettlement areas to serve site clearance work.

Through actual inspection and working with departments, branches, localities and investors, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized that the project received many expectations from the people. Provincial leaders assigned the Department of Finance to preside over the appraisal of investor capacity and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide.
At the same time, relevant units are required to complete supplementary planning and coordinate to accelerate the implementation of necessary procedures.
Investors are required to proactively work with the Department of Finance, Department of Construction and related agencies to implement the next steps immediately after the project is approved for investment policy.
