Khanh Hoa voters proposed that the Ministry of Transport invest in the National Highway 1A bypass from Ninh Da through Ninh Phu, Ninh Giang, Ninh Ha and Ninh Loc of Ninh Hoa town to solve traffic congestion and orient urban development of Ninh Hoa town by 2030.
Regarding the content of the above voters' petition, the Ministry of Transport said:
According to the road network planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, National Highway 1 through Khanh Hoa province is 152km long, level III scale, 4 lanes.
Current status, the entire National Highway 1 section through Khanh Hoa province has been invested by the Ministry of Transport with a scale of 4 lanes in accordance with the approved plan, including the section from Ninh Da passing through Ninh Phu, Ninh Giang, Ninh Ha and Ninh Loc of Ninh Hoa town according to voters' recommendations.
According to the provisions of Clause 5, Section III of Decision No. 1454/QD-TTg, during the planning implementation process, depending on transportation needs and resource capacity, research and invest in a number of urban bypass routes, avoid dangerous steep pass locations that are unsafe for traffic, locations that cannot be expanded...
Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, has planned a National Highway 1 bypass route through the urban section Cam Lam - Cam Ranh and implemented by the locality.
Therefore, the Ministry of Transport proposed that the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province consider adding the National Highway 1 bypass from Ninh Da through Ninh Phu, Ninh Giang, Ninh Ha and Ninh Loc of Ninh Hoa town to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning, as a basis for the locality to implement when balancing resources as proposed by voters.
