At around 2:00 p.m. on February 17, the fire broke out on the top floor of a house of about 60 square meters. At this time, inside the house there were many motorbikes parked on the ground floor.
Ms. N, who lives on the 3rd floor, said that while she was in the room, she saw smoke flying in, so she and her friend ran down below and shouted.
Some young men tried to use mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed due to the black smoke and the increasing heat.

The surrounding households tried to break the door to bring nearly a dozen motorbikes from the ground floor out. Some vehicles were locked so they had to work hard to lift them up.
Nearly 10 fire trucks and more than 40 soldiers were dispatched to the scene. Due to the fire at high ground and the release of black smoke, the police had to mobilize smoke extraction machines and ladder trucks to handle it. Firefighters had to wear gas masks and oxygen tanks to put out the fire.

By nearly 3:00 p.m., the fire was under control. The authorities went inside to check and prevent people from getting stuck. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
