On February 25, Lao Dong Newspaper's reporter noted that at the starting point of the Ring Road V Project, connecting Phu Binh District (Thai Nguyen) with Tan Yen District (Bac Giang), most of the road surface has been paved with asphalt, making it easy for people and vehicles to travel.
Some hard bridge items are also basically completed, replacing small and narrow sections and roads.
At the starting point of the project in Tan Duc commune (Phu Binh), workers are installing guardrails to ensure safety, completing the expansion joints at the hard bridge surface and some other auxiliary items.
At the end of the project in Huong Son town commune (Phu Binh), machinery was mobilized, urgently leveling, creating a flat surface before spreading the asphalt.

The Ring Road V project has a total capital of nearly 700 billion VND, invested by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Management Board, and has been implemented since 2021.
The route has a total length of 6.68km, an average road surface width of 22.5m connecting Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang provinces. This is a section of the more than 330km long route passing through 8 localities with a total investment of VND 86,000 billion.
Up to now, the roadbed item has reached 99% of the volume; the road foundation is equipped with crushed stone and has reached 80% of the volume; the asphalt concrete road surface has reached 45% of the volume; the drainage system has reached 100% of the volume; the Kenh Chinh bridge and the Kenh Troi bridge projects have reached 100% of the volume.
Mr. Tran Xuan Hien - Construction Team Leader of traffic Construction and Management Joint Stock Company 236 said that the site clearance work has been basically completed. After being handed over, the unit is speeding up the progress of the project.
The project is expected to be completed in 2025, after completion, the route will connect Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway with National Highway 37 and Bac Giang province. At the same time, link Yen Binh Complex, Phu Binh District with Bac Giang Province, thereby helping to promote the socio-economic development of the region.

The V road project is more than 330km long, passing through 36 districts, towns and cities of Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc.
In the 2021-2025 period, this route is a level II road, 4 lanes and a 6-lane urban road. In the next phase, when there are enough investment resources and transportation needs, the V belt road will be invested in the scale of a 6-lane highway by building an elevated highway or a regular road.
