On January 9, according to Lao Dong Newspaper, Bac Quang District Party Committee has just reported on the progress of the coordination work to build Tan Dien bridge.
The project has a total cost of nearly 15 billion VND, funded by Lam Dong provincial budget (12 billion VND) and Deo Ca Group (3 billion VND).
The project is represented by the Bac Quang District Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor, and Deo Ca Group as the contractor.
According to the design, Tan Dien bridge is newly built with reinforced concrete, 135m long. Compared to the old bridge, the new Tan Dien bridge is widened from 2.3m to 4-5m. The design load is increased from under 3.5 tons to equivalent to 18 tons. The operating life is up to 100 years.
The project is expected to take 240 days to complete in September 2025.
The newly built bridge serves the travel needs of nearly 400 households in Vang, Tan Dien, and Nam Vac villages, connecting Kim Ngoc and Vo Diem communes.
Previously, in October 2024, Deo Ca Group conducted a field survey, assessed the current status of Tan Dien bridge and deployed a construction plan.
After evaluation, the authorities decided to choose the option of building a new bridge using a rigid reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete structure. The bridge diagram uses 4 prestressed I33m girder spans. The bridge cross-section consists of 2 I33m girder slabs, the distance between the 2 girders is 2.5m. The abutment structure is made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete.
