By 11:00 a.m. on August 28, after many efforts, Lam Dong provincial authorities and rescue forces had basically completed the site clearance for the container truck overturning on Bao Loc Pass.
The cabin and container were taken off the scene, and 2 cars (1 passenger car and 1 car) were also moved from the scene to serve the investigation.

After the accident site was cleared, vehicles on Bao Loc Pass resumed traffic in both directions. However, due to the long congestion time, vehicles were congested for many kilometers in both directions on Bao Loc Pass, causing slow movement.
Currently, the Traffic Police of Madaguoi Station are still on duty to regulate and divert traffic to ensure traffic safety.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 8:10 a.m. the same day, while going down Bao Loc Pass to the curve at Km 98, the container lost its brakes and crashed into 2 cars traveling in the same direction ahead.
As a result, the container truck overturned, lying across the entire pass. After the accident, all 3 cars were damaged, but fortunately, no one was injured. However, the accident caused serious congestion in both directions of Bao Loc Pass, causing vehicles to be stuck for many kilometers.
Madaguoi Traffic Police Station was present immediately after the accident to coordinate with Da Huoai Commune Police to regulate traffic. At the same time, the unit coordinated with rescue forces to urgently clear the scene.
The cause of the traffic accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
