Initial information, the traffic accident occurred at 8:10 a.m. on August 28 on National Highway 20 through Bao Loc Pass in Da Huoai 2 Commune (Lam Dong Province).
At that time, a container truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate (driver unknown) was going down Bao Loc Pass in the direction from Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City.
When reaching a "fertile" curve near the foot of Bao Loc Pass at km99, the container lost a long front slide and collided with a car and a passenger car (29 seats) traveling in the same direction in front.
After that, the container truck overturned and lay blocking the entire pass. The accident caused the container cabin to break and crush; 1 car and 1 passenger bus were pushed from behind and damaged.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. However, the accident caused serious congestion in both directions, with vehicles lining up for many kilometers on Bao Loc Pass and National Highway 20.
After the accident, Madaguoi Traffic Police Station was present to coordinate with Da Huoai Commune Police to regulate traffic; at the same time, coordinated with rescue forces to urgently clear the scene.
Bao Loc Pass is a vital pass connecting Lam Dong province with Dong Nai province and Ho Chi Minh City. This pass is about 10km long with a large slope with dozens of dangerous curves.
