From April 19, the Hanoi Department of Construction adjusted traffic organization on Nguyen Ngoc Vu Street (from Cong Moc Bridge to Lane 53 Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Cau Giay District).
According to the traffic organization plan, the Hanoi Department of Construction will adjust the traffic organization on Nguyen Ngoc Vu Street from Cong Moc Bridge to Lane 53 Nguyen Ngoc Vu to a double road.
Vehicles traveling in both directions of the road have a median strip; add a no-parking and stopping sign in the direction and section from lane 53 Nguyen Ngoc Vu to Quan Nhan; add a no-parking sign on Nguyen Ngoc Vu street in the direction and section from Cong Moc bridge to Le Van Luong street.

According to Lao Dong on June 2, after more than 1 month of adjusting traffic organization on Nguyen Ngoc Vu Street, from Cong Moc Bridge to Lane 53 Nguyen Ngoc Vu, the traffic situation has changed positively.
Most of the people have followed traffic signs on the route, going in the right direction.
However, there are still cases of motorbikes driving in the wrong direction, causing conflicts in traffic flow and potentially causing traffic congestion.
In particular, the area of alley 53 Nguyen Ngoc Vu, after being reorganized, has become a "bottleneck", causing congestion during rush hour.

In the face of the above situation, the Department of Construction has assigned the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board to study sidewalk cutting on Nguyen Ngoc Vu Street, creating favorable conditions for vehicles to travel on the double road section with a median strip.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Deputy Director of the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board (Hanoi Department of Construction) said that in order to increase the effectiveness of the pilot work of organizing traffic from lane 53 Nguyen Ngoc Vu to Cong Moc Bridge, the Maintenance Board has cut a part of the sidewalk to facilitate traffic participants from Nguyen Ngoc Vu in the direction from Cau Giay to Nga Tu So to the section of lane 53 turning into a double road.

The Maintenance Board also requested the functional forces of Trung Hoa Ward and Road Traffic Police Teams No. 6 and 7 to strengthen the handling of violations of going in the wrong direction, stopping and parking in violation of regulations...
The Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board also recommends that the vehicle parking lot on the right side of the route (from lane 53, Nguyen Ngoc Vu street to Cong Moc bridge) arrange vehicles to park neatly, especially the starting points for people to travel most conveniently and safely.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai also affirmed that the Hanoi Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board will continue to monitor, evaluate and propose timely adjustment plans if there are still shortcomings.
