On January 5, Project Management Board 85 (Ministry of Transport), the investor of Dai Ngai Bridge project - held the closing ceremony of Dai Ngai Bridge 2 under the Dai Ngai Bridge Construction Investment Project on National Highway 60 in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang provinces.
Mr. Vuong Dinh Dong - Deputy Director of Project Management Board 85 - said that recently, the leaders of Soc Trang and Tra Vinh provinces have paid attention to and resolved difficulties regarding sand sources for filling, along with the determination of contractors to organize construction. As a result, after more than 1 year of construction, Dai Ngai 2 bridge has been completed ahead of schedule (6 months ahead).
Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee Lam Van Man praised the working spirit of the Investor and the joint venture of construction contractors. The Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Dai Ngai 2 Bridge and the route connecting Long Phu district with Cu Lao Dung district have great significance, breaking the isolation of the island district, meeting the expectations of the people of the island district in particular and of Soc Trang province in general.
The leaders of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee hope that the investor and the contractor consortium will speed up the implementation progress, striving for technical traffic opening by April 30, 2025.
