The People's Committee of Binh Duong province and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City have just had a working program to implement a cooperation program in 2025.
In which, there is the implementation of 5 projects to expand traffic connecting routes in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province.
5 projects include: Project connecting An Binh Street (Di An City, Binh Duong) with Dao Trinh Nhat Street to Pham Van Dong Street, (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City).
The second connection project is the southern branch road of Linh Trung 2 Export Processing Zone (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) and Vinh Phu 32 Street (Thuan An City, Binh Duong).
The third connection project is N3 road (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City) and Vinh Phu 41 road (Thuan An city, Binh Duong province).
The fourth connection project is N1 road (Binh Chieu ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City) with Binh Hoa 1 road (Thuan An city, Binh Duong province).
The People's Committee of Thu Duc City has updated the planning roadmap of the above routes into the general planning project of Thu Duc City in Ho Chi Minh City until 2040. Currently, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City is making estimates and proposing capital to prepare for investment in the above 4 connection projects, expected to be implemented in the period of 2026-2030.
Binh Duong province is also implementing a project to expand An Binh road from 15 m to 34 m. The project is being calculated to be implemented next year.
In addition, Binh Duong province is implementing the Song Than intersection upgrade project. This project has been assigned to the Binh Duong Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor. The transport sector of Binh Duong province and Ho Chi Minh City are coordinating to complete the design plan for Song Than intersection. After that, the investment plan for the construction of this intersection was completed.
