Faced with the news that the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway Project (section Km19+000 - Km53+000 in Hoa Binh province) is aggressively promoting site clearance to start construction, everyone is happy and excited.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga (Seo village, Cao Son commune, Da Bac district) shared: "We are very happy that the expressway is about to start construction, when the route is completed and put into operation to help people travel more easily hard".
This woman said that Da Bac district has a lot of potential for developing tourism associated with cultural identity, however, traffic is still difficult with the unique road leading to highland communes being significantly limited accessible to tourists.
"A highway through the district's communes will contribute to changing the face of the Da Bac highland, and help people open up more opportunities for economic development, tourism development, and improvement of life." - Ms. Nga said.
Sharing the same joy at the threshold of starting construction on the key road of both Hoa Binh and Son La provinces, Mr. Ly Van Henh (Cao Son commune, Da Bac district) shared: "If the road is completed and put into operation will help shorten the time from Hoa Binh city center to Moc Chau district in particular and Son La in general."
According to Mr. Henh, due to his job, he often travels between Da Bac district (Hoa Binh) and Van Ho district (Son La), having to detour from Da Bac to Highway 6 and overcome many steep passes to get to Son La is extremely difficult hard.
Therefore, what people hope most is that the expressway will soon be completed and put into operation, helping to shorten travel time.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Da Bac District People's Committee - said that the district has established a compensation and resettlement working group for the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project headed by the Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee. Act as team leader, along with members of the district's departments, branches, and unions, and invite project investors to participate to coordinate in the process of implementing compensation and site clearance tasks.
According to Mr. Tuan, up to now more than 8km have been counted, the section from km24+300 - km32+500 (corresponding to a total of 568 plots, 63ha that need to be recovered).
At the same time, the District People's Committee has directed relevant agencies and units to urgently develop land price plans, approve specific land prices and prepare a draft compensation plan for public listing. After receiving comments and after the listing process, the first plan will be approved for the area announced to be withdrawn.
Also according to the representative of the People's Committee of Da Bac district, the locality has reported to the provincial leaders and agreed with the investor on the expected starting location in Seo hamlet, Cao Son commune.
The investor is applying for policies and implementing procedures to organize a groundbreaking ceremony.

The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway project has a construction scale of 34km long. Total investment is 9,997 billion VND. In Hoa Binh province, it has a total length of 34 km.
Da Bac district is 21km with 88 households in Cao Son, Tien Phong, Tu Ly communes and Da Bac town whose houses and land are affected; the total land area to be recovered is 173.8 hectares.
