During the September 2nd holiday, on the Nguyen Dinh Chieu - Huynh Thuc Khang route passing through many resorts and restaurants in Mui Ne ward, many locations are under construction, digging sidewalks. Vehicles have to move slowly through affected road sections.
In the area in front of No. 87 Huynh Thuc Khang, potholes appeared on the road surface, and water stagnated into large puddles. Many sections of the roadside were dug up, and construction materials were gathered close to the road, causing traffic space to narrow.
Notably, Suoi Tien bridge on Huynh Thuc Khang street is under construction, so a temporary iron bridge is arranged for vehicles to pass through. The bridge is only enough for one car to travel each turn.
At a time when the number of tourist cars is increasing, traffic in both directions through the temporary bridge is facing many difficulties. When one direction passes, vehicles in the opposite direction have to lean aside to wait.
This is a project to repair and upgrade Nguyen Dinh Chieu street and Huynh Thuc Khang street, the section from Hoang Ngoc Tourist Area to Lang Chai intersection.
According to records on the afternoon of August 30, some locations on the route still have workers and construction machinery. Over the past time, this project has been delayed due to some sections of the route still facing land issues from households that have not been handed over.
On August 22, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy inspected the site and assessed that the project implementation contents had improved, but progress was still slow.
Therefore, localities and related units must focus on implementation, not allowing site clearance work to be prolonged, affecting the overall progress.
Contractors are required to focus manpower and construction machinery to commit to specific progress for each content and each construction section. If any unit does not meet the commitment, consider terminating the implementation to choose another unit according to regulations.
