At about 3 pm on August 29, at Km28+800 Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, passing through Song Phan commune, Lam Dong province, a chain collision occurred between 7 cars.
These vehicles were traveling in the South - North direction. After the collision, 7 vehicles stopped close to the hard median strip between the expressway. The front and rear of the vehicles were heavily damaged. The incident caused vehicles in the remaining lane to move slowly through the area.
At the time of the incident, the number of vehicles on the highway increased sharply due to people returning to their hometowns for the September 2nd holiday and traveling.
Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) coordinated with the route management unit to regulate traffic through the area and urgently handle the scene. Rescue trucks were mobilized to the scene to rescue the accident car after functional forces examined the scene.
