Sharing with PV of Lao Dong Newspaper at 11:30 am on August 30, Mr. Viet Anh (a driver traveling on the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway) - said that the direction from Hanoi to Ninh Binh recorded very high vehicle density, vehicles moving slowly on many sections.
According to Mr. Viet Anh, the congestion situation started from the beginning of Ring Road 3 leading to Phap Van expressway and extended to the toll station.
Due to the sudden increase in the number of vehicles, many drivers actively maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front, so the traffic speed is significantly reduced, and travel time is longer than usual. At some points, vehicles still appear in the emergency stop lane," Mr. Viet Anh shared.
In addition to the main route, the service road along the expressway also recorded a high increase in traffic volume.

Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Ministry of Public Security said that on August 30, the traffic volume on expressways, especially the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, increased sharply when people started their National Day holiday on September 2nd.
According to the Traffic Police Department, most drivers have complied with regulations on keeping a safe distance. Compared to previous days, the situation of speeding, encroaching on lanes, continuously changing lanes or going into the emergency stop lane has decreased significantly.
The choice of routes is the people's initiative. When congestion occurs, traffic police forces under the Traffic Police Department and local police will strengthen guidance, regulation, and traffic diversion to ensure safe and smooth traffic," the Traffic Police Department recommended.

The Traffic Police Department also recommends that vehicle drivers continue to raise awareness of complying with the law on traffic order and safety, proactively reduce speed, maintain a safe distance and comply with the instructions of functional forces so that travel during the holidays is safe and convenient.
