On the afternoon of July 21, Lien Khuong International Airport said that it had notified airlines, operating units and relevant agencies to proactively prepare facilities, personnel and necessary conditions to serve operations when the airport reopens.
According to the planned schedule, Lien Khuong airport will officially resume operations from 0:00 on August 19th.

The project to repair the runway and taxiway of Lien Khuong International Airport was started on March 4 with a total investment of more than 1,032 billion VND.
This is a level I aviation project, including items to repair the entire runway, 3, 250m long, 45m wide, taxiway and technical infrastructure and equipment to ensure flight operation.
To ensure progress, the investor has mobilized nearly 500 officials, engineers and workers to work on duty at the construction site.
In which, more than 450 workers are working in shifts day and night, along with many machines and equipment operating continuously.
The reopening of Lien Khuong airport is expected to restore air transport operations, create favorable conditions for tourism and trade development; and connect transportation of Lam Dong province as well as the Central Highlands region.
