Progress of many items reaches over 90%
On June 16, Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and the provincial working delegation inspected the progress of the Project to repair runways and taxiways at Lien Khuong International Airport.

According to Vietnam Airports Corporation (AVC), the project has a total investment of more than 1,032 billion VND, started on March 4, 2026 and is expected to be completed, bringing Lien Khuong airport back into operation on August 19, 2026.
Up to now, many important items have achieved high progress. Ground foundation for runways, rolling roads and material curbs are 100% completed; auxiliary compensation aggregate stone foundation reaches 100%; underground crushed stone layer reaches 96%, upper layer reaches 90%; cement concrete runway items are 100% completed.

Representatives of the ACV Construction Investment Project Management Board committed to completing the project on schedule, soon putting Lien Khuong airport back into operation to serve people, tourists and develop the local economy and society.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested ACV and related units to continue to focus maximum resources, take advantage of favorable weather to accelerate progress, ensure quality and safety of the project.

Lien Khuong Airport plays a new driving force for development
Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam acknowledged the efforts of ACV, the Project Management Board and contractors in focusing manpower, equipment, and organizing continuous construction to accelerate progress.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested units to continue to mobilize maximum manpower and machinery, proactively respond to unfavorable weather, accelerate the construction of the remaining items to complete the project on schedule, and put Lien Khuong airport back into operation on August 19, 2026.
According to Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, this is not only an aviation infrastructure repair project but also a project of strategic significance for the province's development.

In the new development orientation, improving the operating capacity of Lien Khuong airport will contribute to reducing logistics costs; at the same time, shortening the transportation time of goods to international markets such as Singapore, South Korea and many other potential markets.

Lam Dong province is also orienting the development of the airport area associated with a new urban space, forming a modern service, tourism and logistics ecosystem.
At the same time, the province will coordinate with ACV and ministries and sectors to study expanding aviation infrastructure, restoring and opening more international routes.

Towards the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival and international cultural and tourism events, provincial leaders requested ACV to fully prepare infrastructure conditions to serve exploitation.
