Hanoi voters have just reflected, Decision No. 590/QD-TTg dated May 20, 2008 of the Prime Minister approving the adjustment of planning of Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for the period up to 2020 and orientation. after 2020 but up to now no field demarcation has been carried out.
According to voters, this has a great impact on the lives and economic development of people in communes in the planning area.
Therefore, voters requested the Ministry of Transport to coordinate with relevant agencies to soon install field boundary markers for Noi Bai International Airport planning, creating conditions for people to stabilize their lives.
Responding to this issue on August 28, the Ministry of Transport said that, implementing Decision No. 590/QD-TTg dated May 20, 2008 of the Prime Minister (Decision No. 590/QD-TTg), the unit making regulations Adjusting the planning of Noi Bai International Airport for the period up to 2020 and orientation after 2020, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has organized the work of measuring and placing boundary markers. and notify the plan to relevant localities for coordination.
However, due to some problems during the implementation process, the units have not completed the task of planting boundary markers mentioned above.
After Decree No. 102/2015/ND-CP dated October 20, 2015 of the Government was issued, along with the transformation of ACV's model, the Ministry of Transport reviewed and balanced the allocation of state budget capital and assigned the Northern Airport Authority to continue to organize and implement the work of placing landmarks for the planning of Noi Bai International Airport.
During this period, with the rapidly growing needs of the aviation industry; At the same time, implementing the Air Transport Development Plan for the period up to 2020, with a vision to 2030, the Ministry of Transport has organized the planning of Noi Bai International Airport for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 through through non-refundable aid from the French Government.
Consulting ADPi (France) has implemented the task since June 2019, including reviewing the entire planning according to Decision No. 590/QD-TTg; At the same time, research plans to expand and develop Noi Bai International Airport with a capacity of about 100 million passengers/year (equivalent to some major international airports in the world).
Therefore, the work of setting up planning boundary markers according to Decision No. 590/QD-TTg will continue to be implemented after updating the planning to avoid affecting people in the area.
Up to now, the Noi Bai International Airport Planning plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, has been basically completed by APDi consultancy, received by the Vietnam Aviation Administration and assigned to domestic consultants to complete the planning according to the plan. regulations, expected to be completed in 2025.
Immediately after the planning is approved, the Ministry of Transport will direct relevant units to announce the planning and coordinate with local authorities to place planning boundary markers according to regulations.
