Roads continue to account for the largest proportion with 1,517 cases, killing 816 people and injuring 1,054 people. However, the indicators all fell significantly compared to last year, with the number of cases falling by 23.46% and the number of deaths falling by 17.82%.
The railway recorded 6 cases, killing 4 people and injuring 1 person, reducing the number of cases and 50% of the number of deaths. Meanwhile, there were 3 waterway incidents that killed 3 people, a slight increase compared to the same period. There was one incident in the maritime sector, with no deaths or injuries.
According to statistics from December 15, 2024 to November 14, 2025, there were 16,938 traffic accidents nationwide, killing 9,549 people and injuring 11,224 people. Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of cases decreased by 22,19%, the number of deaths decreased by 6.39% and the number of injuries decreased by nearly 30%.
Roads continue to be the area most affected with 16,797 cases and 9,451 deaths. Although the number of cases and deaths have decreased, the reduction in deaths is still not commensurate with the reduction in cases.
The railway recorded 93 cases, killing 63 people; the waterway had 42 cases, killing 30 people; the maritime route had 6 cases killing 5 people. In general, these areas all tend to reduce the number of cases, except for the slight increase in the number of deaths at sea.
