A representative of the Hanoi Department of Construction said that with the determination to limit accidents caused by infrastructure problems, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the Department has coordinated with the Hanoi City Police to review and direct relevant units to thoroughly handle 3 "black spots" of traffic accidents, including: Location Km165+950 National Highway 1B (Thanh Tri Bridge); section Km431+240 to Km431+304 Ho Chi Minh Road; section Km2+200 to Km2+400 National Highway 21A (also known as the intersection of Military Medical Institute 105).
In the last months of 2025 and the following period, relevant departments of the Department of Construction will continue to coordinate with wards and communes to review locations with inadequate traffic infrastructure, "black spots", potential points at risk of traffic accidents and arrange priority handling procedures, to recommend that competent authorities soon find solutions.
Currently, the Department of Construction coordinates with the Hanoi City Police to establish 4 interdisciplinary teams to regularly review shortcomings in traffic organization work to make timely adjustments.
At the same time, continue to promote and research innovation in methods of propaganda and education on traffic safety and order. However, the most important factor to reduce traffic accidents is still human awareness, said a representative of the Department of Construction.
