On April 30, a serious traffic accident occurred on National Highway 51, through Phu My City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, killing 2 people.
According to initial information, at around 11:22 a.m. on April 30, driver Nguyen Van Luan (born in 1989, residing in Quang Binh province) was driving a tractor-trailer with license plate 51D-378.08, pulling a trailer with license plate 50RM-007.29, traveling on National Highway 51, in the direction from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau City.
When reaching Km38 + 130 National Highway 51 (in My Xuan Ward, Phu My City), Luan was driving the vehicle to the right to enter My Xuan A Industrial Park, when he collided with a motorbike with license plate 95N1-024.58 driven by Mr. N.V.V (born in 1973, residing in Bac Lieu Province), carrying Ms. N.K.C (born in 1985, residing in Ca Mau Province) traveling in the same direction.
The collision caused Mr. V and Mrs. C to fall under the tractor-trailer and die on the spot, the motorbike was severely damaged.
Upon receiving the report, the Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police Department coordinated with the Criminal Techniques Department and the People's Procuracy of Phu My City to conduct a crime scene investigation and autopsies on the victims as a basis for handling the case.
Currently, the authorities are completing the investigation procedures to handle according to regulations.
