On the afternoon of September 13, Mr. Nguyen Khac Viet - Director of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway project said that workers are temporarily reinforcing the eroded roadbed at km213+750 on the right side of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway. This location is in Ham Liem commune, Lam Dong province.

Recorded at the scene, the unit managing and maintaining this expressway section, 886 - Thanh Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, has been working to the scene. Top-shaped piles are placed on the highway to warn of the construction site.
Due to the location on the highway, and the outside is a residential road with a fence of zinc and thorn, so vehicles carrying dirt and sand cannot approach the eroded location. Workers have temporarily packed sandbags of soil to reinforce the foundation and fill the landslide.

According to Mr. Nguyen Khac Viet - Director of the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway project, the slope will be temporarily reinforced with soil bags to prevent further erosion. Because the rainwater flows into the stream at this location causing landslides, long-term measures will block the water, leading the flow to the water level.

As Lao Dong reported, after more than 2 years of operation, the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway has seen erosion of roadbeds and frog jaw openings at km 213 through Ham Liem commune, Lam Dong province. The roadbed is eroded, forming ditches. The erosion has eaten deep into the roadbed, forming a landslide.

The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway project and the route management unit are reviewing the damaged locations on the route and are implementing repairs at km 210 from September 12. However, after a few hours of reporting by Lao Dong newspaper, the unit immediately mobilized vehicles and workers to temporarily reinforce the erosion location at km213 to ensure safety for vehicles traveling on the expressway.
