On April 11, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3, Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that they had launched a campaign to inspect and handle vehicles that have expired registration and expired their service life but are still in traffic.

According to records, recently in the Mui Ne fishing port area (Mui Ne ward), many cars show signs of degradation, not meeting technical standards, but still transporting anchovies and seafood from the port to processing facilities.
Some vehicles have also been renovated and structurally changed to serve fish transportation.

Although the travel distance is short, these vehicles still circulate on roads with crowded people and vehicles passing by, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.
Notably, the Mui Ne area is a place with high density of tourist cars and people's vehicles circulating.

Faced with the above situation, Phan Thiet Traffic Police Team, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 deployed patrols and handling.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered 7 cases of cars violating regulations related to expired registration or no registration.

Among the vehicles being handled, there are vehicles that have expired registration from 2014 but are still in traffic.
Some vehicles are in serious condition, the front of the cabin is rotten, not ensuring technical safety. Vehicles that do not meet traffic conditions such as Hoa Lam 3-wheeled vehicles are all recorded for handling.

Functional forces have temporarily seized violating vehicles according to regulations.
At the same time, continue to strengthen inspections to ensure traffic order and safety in the Mui Ne area as well as "hot spots" for cars showing signs of running out of registration and degraded cars still circulating on the road.
