On April 8, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security said that at about 4:45 pm on April 7, this unit received a complaint about a passenger car with license plate 36B-029. xx when traveling on the Phap Van - Cao Bo - Mai Son - QL45 expressway having the act of changing lanes but not turning on the warning signal, posing a potential risk of traffic unsafety.
After receiving information, at 5:20 pm on the same day, at Km188+300, the Task Force of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) stopped the vehicle with license plate 36H-029. XX for inspection and verification.
Through inspection, functional forces determined that the car's traffic light system was still operating normally. The vehicle driver is M.V. K (born 1984, residing in Hoa Loc commune, Thanh Hoa province).
For the act of changing lanes without signal while driving on the highway, the driver was issued an administrative violation record.
According to current regulations, for the above violation, the driver is fined 5 million VND, temporarily seized the vehicle for 10 days, temporarily seized 1 driver's license and deducted 2 points on the driver's license.

According to the Traffic Police Department, on April 7, implementing the patrol and control plan, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 also discovered and made records of 30 violations, including 5 passenger cars, 4 trucks and 21 cars. Among them, there were 8 cases of driving license points being deducted, and 1 vehicle was temporarily seized.
The main violations include speeding (24 cases); changing lanes without signaling (1 case); carrying more people than prescribed (2 cases); not wearing seat belts (3 cases).
In addition, through the surveillance camera system, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 also recorded 97 violations. Functional forces have made direct records of 25 cases, and at the same time sent violation notices to the remaining 72 cases for handling according to regulations.
The Traffic Police force recommends that when participating in traffic on highways, vehicle drivers should strictly comply with regulations on speed, lane and direction change signals.
