On April 6, the commander of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) said that they had made a record of handling a tractor-trailer violating regulations on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway.
Previously, during patrol and control, the task force stopped to inspect a tractor-trailer with license plate 43H-073. xx when traveling on the expressway through Lam Dong province.
Through inspection, functional forces determined that the vehicle did not have a vehicle registration certificate; did not have a certificate of technical safety and environmental protection inspection; did not have a badge as prescribed.
In addition, this vehicle also carries goods exceeding the allowed loading height for trucks (including trailers and semi-trailers).
Through working, the driver presented papers in the name of N.T. A (born in 1993). The working group made a record of administrative violation against the driver for the above violations.
According to the provisions of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, for the above violations, drivers will be fined 16 million VND and deduct 8 points from the driver's license. Vehicles will be temporarily detained for 7 days.
Regarding the incident, the vehicle owner was recorded by the Traffic Police for using the vehicle to participate in traffic in violation of the above-mentioned errors.
Based on regulations, the car owner will be fined 88 million VND. The total amount to be fined to the car owner and driver is 104 million VND.
