On May 13, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that the road project from Le Duan - Truong Chinh intersection to Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway intersection has been approved for environmental impact assessment.
Land clearance boundaries have also been handed over to localities and relevant units to deploy inventory and measurement to serve compensation and resettlement support.

For the 25ha resettlement area serving the project, the investment policy dossier has been approved by the Appraisal Council. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee is considering submitting it to competent authorities for comments before approval.
Some important technical procedures of the project have also been completed. In which, the design plan for the intersection connecting to the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway has been approved by the Vietnam Road Administration.

Along with that, the intersection plan with the railway line has been commented on by the Vietnam Railways Authority, ensuring technical and safety requirements according to regulations.
Project Management Board No. 2 has completed the Feasibility Study Report dossier and submitted it to the Department of Construction for appraisal according to regulations.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested relevant units to accelerate progress, strive to complete land acquisition and necessary procedures to serve the project.
According to the plan, the road from Le Duan - Truong Chinh intersection to Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway intersection is about 12km long, with a total investment of about 4,712 billion VND.

In the first phase, the project will invest in 6 lanes for motorized vehicles, and at the same time recover land funds along both sides of the route to effectively exploit land funds and create room for urban development in the future.
The route is expected to connect Phan Thiet center with the North-South expressway, high-speed railway station and other important traffic hubs. The project is expected to start construction in 2026 and be completed in 2030.
When put into use, the road will contribute to expanding the urban space of Phan Thiet, increasing the connectivity of transport infrastructure and shortening travel time from the city center to the North-South expressway.
