On the afternoon of June 20, on National Highway 55, section km71+200 passing through hamlet 2, Son My commune (Lam Dong province), a traffic collision occurred between a tractor-trailer and a car, causing 3 people to go to the hospital.
According to initial information, at the above time, a tractor-trailer with license plate 86C-184. xx pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 72R-032. xx was traveling on National Highway 55. When reaching the above area, the vehicle collided with a car with license plate 51K-101. xx.
After the collision, the tractor-trailer overturned, blocking National Highway 55. Goods on the truck bed fell onto the road. The front of the car was heavily deformed.
The ambulance then arrived at the scene to take the 3 injured people to La Gi Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment. Among these, there were 2 people in the car and 1 person in the tractor-trailer.
Because the tractor-trailer overturned and blocked the road, vehicles traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Lam Dong and vice versa could not pass through the accident area. Son My Commune Police organized regulation and guided vehicles to travel in other directions.
Leaders of Ham Tan Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that they had sent a working group to the scene to handle the incident.
Currently, the scene examination and resolution work is being urgently deployed to crane the accident vehicle and soon restore traffic on National Highway 55.
