At about 5:05 am this morning, April 21, at Km192+00 (left lane) on the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway, a serious traffic accident occurred between two cars, killing 1 person.
According to information from Road Management Office I.1, the collision occurred between two cars in lane No. 3. The consequence was one death, one vehicle was heavily damaged, but no damage to road traffic infrastructure was recorded.
At the scene, vehicles were still circulating normally, without prolonged congestion. The traffic safety system on the route was fully identified, the roadbed and surface in the accident area were in normal condition.
Immediately after the incident occurred, functional forces were present to handle the scene. Traffic Patrol and Control Team No. 3 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) is coordinating with relevant units to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
Currently, the case is continuing to be resolved according to regulations.
