The serious traffic accident occurred at around 4:15 p.m. on August 8, on National Highway 20, through Hoa Ninh commune, Lam Dong province.
At the above time, the tractor trailer with license plate 49H - 035.46 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling from Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City.
According to the image recorded by the camera, when arriving at the above location, it rained, the driver braken suddenly, causing the tractor-trailer to turn sideways, swerving over the reverse side, colliding with 2 motorbikes in circulation.
The collision caused 2 motorbikes to be caught under the tractor-trailer, seriously injuring 3 people. The victims were transferred to Lam Dong II Hospital in B'Lao Ward for emergency care.
However, due to severe injuries, Ms. K.H (33 years old) died at the hospital after about 1 hour of treatment.
Mr. K.B (Ms. H's husband) is being treated at Lam Dong Hospital II in a state of multiple injuries. The other person, Mr. K.S, was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and is being transferred to Ho Chi Minh City for treatment.
After the accident, the authorities were present to regulate traffic and examine the scene to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
