On the afternoon of June 7, Mr. Trinh Hong Nhut - Director of Tay Nguyen Regional General Hospital said that doctors and nurses are continuing to monitor and treat the two surviving victims in the accident that occurred in Cu Jut commune, Lam Dong province.

According to Mr. Nhut, when admitted to the hospital, both patients suffered multiple injuries, in serious condition.
However, after the emergency and intensive treatment process, the patient's health has temporarily stabilized, passed the critical condition and vitality indicators are well controlled.
In which, Mr. Y Win K'Nul (born 1958, residing in Cu Jut commune) is being treated at the General Surgery Department with a diagnosis of traumatic brain injury, closed chest injury causing pleural effusion and calf fracture.

Patient Y Chun Ê Ban (born 2021, residing in Cu Jut commune) is being treated at the Department of Neurosurgery with a diagnosis of brain concussion and head injury.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported: At about 7:40 am on June 6, a tractor-trailer with license plate 47H-040.88 driven by Mr. Nguyen Huu Duc (residing in Ea Kao ward, Dak Lak province) was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh road in the direction of Dong Nai - Dak Lak.
When reaching the section at Km1801+600 in Cu Jut commune, the vehicle collided with a tractor truck without license plates driven by Mr. Y Sep E Ban (born in 1994, residing in Cu Jut commune) traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident killed Mr. Y Sep Ê Ban on the spot. Three other victims including Mr. Y Min Bkrông (born 2002), child Y Hòa Priêng (born 2016) and driver Nguyễn Hữu Đức died later due to severe injuries.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies of Lam Dong province.
