Lam Dong - Electric vehicles will continue to run on some routes in Da Lat city, to serve the needs of tourists.

According to the latest information from the Department of Construction, Da Lat City (Lam Dong), electric vehicles will continue to be allowed to carry passengers from 6am to 11pm, with a maximum speed of 30 km/h on some routes.

This is part of the local government's efforts to ensure traffic safety and facilitate tourists.

Specifically the routes: Section from Tran Quoc Toan - Yersin intersection to Tran Quoc Toan - Tran Nhan Tong intersection; Tran Quoc Toan - Dinh Tien Hoang intersection to Dinh Tien Hoang - Tran Nhan Tong intersection. Electric vehicles are only allowed to move in the inner lane on the right, which is reserved for motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles.

This regulation aims to reduce traffic congestion and ensure safety for both passengers and other road users.

To implement this regulation, the Department of Construction has assigned the People's Committee of Da Lat City to install signs limiting the maximum speed allowed to be 30 km/h on routes allowing electric vehicles to operate.

This will help drivers of electric vehicles and other vehicles easily recognize and comply with regulations, while raising awareness of traffic law compliance in the community.

This new regulation not only contributes to improving traffic safety but also creates favorable conditions for tourism activities in Da Lat - one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.

With environmentally friendly electric cars, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of the city of thousands of flowers more comfortably and safely.
