At about 16:35 on the afternoon of March 25, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection between the road to Than Tai Mountain Hot Spring Mineral Spring Park and the Western Ring Road, in Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang City. A passenger car with a Hue City license plate carrying a group of foreign tourists was on its way to the tourist area when it collided with a truck carrying soil with license plate 43C-238xx traveling on the Western beltway from Hoa Ninh commune to Hoa Phu.
The strong collision caused the front of the truck to be completely deformed, and the driver was trapped in the cabin. The passenger bus had broken glass, the truck's body was damaged, and some passengers suffered minor scratches.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Traffic Police of Hoa Vang district quickly arrived at the scene to carry out rescue work, rescue the truck driver and take him to the hospital for emergency care.
As of 6:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities were still blocking the scene, conducting an autopsy and investigation to clarify the cause of the accident. The case is being further investigated.
