On the evening of July 24, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Quoc - Political Commissar of the Provincial Defense Command (PTKV) 3 - Bao Lam (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had received information about the overturned passenger bus carrying a group of students on their way to give charity gifts.
Immediately afterwards, the PTKV 3 - Bao Lam Command Board mobilized officers and soldiers of the unit on duty in Ta Dung commune to coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to support the victims to ensure safety.

Initial information, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, a passenger bus with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate carrying a group of 19 students from Ho Chi Minh City Banking University was on its way to Vu A Dinh Boarding Primary School (ta Dung commune, Lam Dong province).
However, due to steep and slippery roads, the passenger bus overturned.
Upon receiving the report, officers and soldiers of Working Group No. 4 under the PTKV 3 - Bao Lam Command Committee, who are responsible for guiding communes on military and defense work in Ta Dung commune (Lam Dong province), were present in time to coordinate with the authorities and authorities to deploy rescue work.

Directly participating in the rescue work at the scene, Lieutenant Colonel Le Duc Thuan - Deputy Chief of Staff of PTKV 3 - Bao Lam Command, said that through records, there were 5 injured people. The forces coordinated to take the injured to the Ta Dung commune health station for first aid and to tie the wound.
After that, the Command Committee coordinated with local authorities to mobilize ambulances to transport the victims to the old Dak Glong District Medical Center for further examination and health check-up. Fortunately, all 5 students suffered minor injuries while being scratched, including 2 with broken calves.

After receiving first aid, local authorities and forces coordinated with the school to take the students to Ho Chi Minh City for further treatment.
