On the evening of January 24, at km1677, on National Highway 1, passing through Liem Thai village, Hong Son commune, Lam Dong province, a traffic accident occurred between a sleeper bus and a motorbike, killing one person.
At the time of the accident, the sleeper bus was traveling in the North-South direction. When reaching the above location, which is the median strip opening point, this vehicle collided with a motorbike driven by a man.
The strong collision caused the motorbike to be dragged a distance in front of the passenger car. After that, the passenger car continued to hit and break the roadside marker and rushed to the side of the road before stopping.
At the scene, the motorbike was broken and stuck in front of the passenger car. The motorbike driver was lying on the road surface, taken to the emergency room by functional forces but died.
The Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police and professional units were present to examine the scene and request an autopsy to clarify the cause of the accident.
According to records, the area where the accident occurred has no street lighting system.
Notably, in the afternoon of January 18, also at this location, another traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and an electric motorbike, causing one death and one serious injury.
