Passenger car overturns on National Highway 37 through Son La, 11 people injured

    Son La - While traveling on National Highway 37, a passenger car suddenly overturned, injuring 11 people.

    According to initial information, at about 5 am on January 5, 2026, at Km472 National Highway 37, Mat Sang village area, Phieng Pan commune, a passenger car running the Quang Ninh - Song Ma (Son La) route, license plate 29F-016.48, overturned.

    At the time of the accident, there were a total of 25 passengers on the bus. The incident injured 11 people, including 2 people with broken arms, 1 person with broken thighs and 8 people with minor injuries.

    The victims were given initial first aid at Phieng Pan Commune Health Station; necessary cases have been transferred to higher-level hospitals for further treatment. The remaining passengers are in stable health.

    Currently, the cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
