In the afternoon of August 8, heavy rain with strong gusts of wind occurred in Da Huoai 2 commune (Lam Dong), causing many forest trees on Bao Loc Pass to fall in many locations.

Some fallen forest trees block the road surface, causing traffic obstruction and potential safety risks for people and vehicles crossing the pass.
After receiving information, Da Huoai 2 Commune People's Committee mobilized police and militia forces to coordinate with Madaguoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police) to handle the scene.

The forces used chainsaws and machetes to cut down fallen trees, and at the same time divert and regulate traffic to ensure safety for people.

By about 5 pm on the same day, 4 locations with fallen forest trees on Bao Loc Pass had been cleared. Traffic through the pass was ensured to be safe, and vehicles circulated normally.

According to Da Huoai 2 Commune People's Committee, in addition to Bao Loc Pass, heavy rain accompanied by strong gusts of wind also caused many green trees on other roads in the commune to fall.

Forces are continuing to clean up and clear affected locations, ensuring safety for people's traffic.
